LANDMARK RECEIVES SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Over forty senior students of the Comprehensive High School, Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State visited Landmark University Teaching and Research Farm on an educational excursion on Wednesday 29th June 2022. 

While receiving the students, the Manager of the Teaching and Research Farm, Dr Solomon Ajide advised them to focus on the practical knowledge they would be exposed to during their visit, noting that such knowledge might develop into a passion for farming thereby adding value to humanity by contributing towards food security. Dr Ajide harped on the vision, mission and core values of Landmark University the students, noting their relevance to nation building while taking the students round the farm units, which include feed mill processing unit, rice processing unit, poultry unit, piggery unit, screen houses, rabbit unit and the tractor house among others.

The ecstatic students appreciated the management of Landmark University for giving them access to the farm for practical knowledge. One of the students, Adeleke Mercy who shared her experience stated that she now have practical knowledge of what she has been taught in class. 

Their teacher, Mrs Taiye Afolayan also expressed gratitude to the management of the University for approving the excursion request noted that the trip is informative and impactful.
