LANDMARK INAUGURATES MEMBERS OF MANAGEMENT FOR THE 20202021 ACADEMIC SESSION

On Wednesday 6th January, 2021, Landmark University inaugurated a new set of Management Members for the 2020/2021 Academic Session at the International Exhibition Centre of the University. The Vice-Chancellor, representing the Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo inaugurated the Management Members as he led the University Community into the New Year.

Professor Adeniyi Olayanju in his remarks advised everyone to seek the face of God for divine help on the assignment and inspiration for excellent performance. He also enthused them to perform their duties as unto the Lord, noting that every opportunity to serve is an opportunity to be blessed. He stated further that change is the only thing constant in life, and it is also the peculiarity of the University’s proprietor base as well as the standard of every world-class organization to embrace change aimed at improving service delivery and productivity. He, thereafter, appreciated outgone members of Management for the remarkable role they played in the last session, as he enjoined them not to relent in engaging Management towards ensuring continuous improvement in the growth and development of Landmark University. 

In her remarks, the Registrar, Miss Fola Oyinloye thanked God for the privilege of service she enjoys in the University. She encouraged everyone present to render services as required by the University as unto the Lord with a sense of responsibility and commitment rewardable by God in diverse ways. She added that teamwork would be highly required for the new academic session, stating that nothing can be achieved without teamwork, as she urged all to cooperate with Management in their quest towards attaining world-class status as envisioned by the Proprietor base.

Representing Deans of Colleges, the Dean, College of Agricultural Sciences, Professor O. M. Bamiro urged his colleagues to be of a good report as they discharge their duties with a sense of privilege to serve God and not men, noting that whatever seed one sows goes a long way in determining what one reaps. He concluded by appreciating the Proprietor base for availing them the opportunity to serve in the capacity of members of the University Management. 

In his remarks, the Director Financial Services, Mr Dare Fadoju on behalf of other Directors stated that their nomination and approval are by the grace of God and not by smartness or intelligence as he promised that all Directors will perform to the best of their abilities and ensure the best of God reflects in everything they do. The Head of Department, Agriculture and Bio-Systems Engineering (ABE), Dr John Ojediran speaking on behalf of the Heads of Departments assured Management of their cooperation and that they will move in alignment with the vision of the University.
