LANDMARK KICK STARTS NEW ACADEMIC SESSION WITH ANNOUNCEMENT OF MANAGEMENT

Management in any establishment focuses on the process of organizing, planning, leading and controlling resources within an entity with the overall aim of achieving organizational objectives. Aside determining broad strategic strokes for the organization in general, and focusing on the big picture, it is worthy of note that members of management of any organization make decisions and resolve issues effectively in a beneficial mode that is in alignment with the founding vision and mission of such organization. These and other structural arrangements played out in alignment with the University’s mandate of enrouting world class status, when the Vice-Chancellor of Landmark, Professor Adeniyi Olayanju announced officially the change in the Institution’s management set-up.

Professor Olayanju, however admonished that consciousness of title would rob anyone of his/her entitlement, as every opportunity to serve is opportunity to be blessed. He noted that change is the only thing constant in life, and it is also the peculiarity of the University’s proprietor base. He also enjoined that no one has a permanent tenure and that consciousness of this will always help you in any assignment committed to your hands”.

He, however, appreciated out-gone members of management for the role they played in the last session, which he said could not be overlooked, as he enjoined them not to relent in engaging the management which would be of utmost contribution to the growth and development of Landmark University. In his words, “continuous engagement would lead to continuous growth and development.”

In her remarks at the meeting, the New Registrar, Ms Fola Oyinloye thanked God for the privilege to serve the University and noted that it is an assignment for every member of the University community. She added that teamwork would be highly required for new academic session, as nothing can be achieved without teamwork, while urging all to cooperate with the Management in their quest towards attaining world class status as prescribed by the proprietor base.
