LMDV REWARDS STAFF FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS

The management of the Landmark University Development Venture (LMDV) has demonstrated its commitment to rewarding outstanding results and performances with the aim of stimulating workforce for maximum service delivery towards realizing the goal of establishing the venture, IGR. A number of the unit supervisors and the acting business manager were awarded by the management of the Venture led by the Office of the Special Assistant to the Chancellor (SAC) on Thursday, 21st March, 2019. The award ceremony, as lined to commemorate the University’s 8th Founder’s Day, was graced by the Secretary Board of Regents, Barrister Temidayo Eseyin who congratulated the venture on such laudable initiative which he said would go a long way in enhancing the quality of service delivered to the University by the venture. While speaking to the entire members of the LMDV team, Barr. Eseyin noted that the award was not in the certificates and plaques given to the individuals but the fact that their contributions were recognized and God is taking record. He, however, charged that everyone is entitled to reward in the Landmark system. “Let us all know that Landmark is an arm of the ministry and everyone is a pastor in line for reward. At a time like this, not everyone can be capture for awards especially those whose works are not in the frontline. God who sees your secret contributions will reward you openly,” he noted.

Also speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adeniyi Olayanju, commended the concerted effort and support that culminated into the success story of the LMDV especially since the inauguration of the Office of the Special Assistant to the Chancellor, headed by Dr (Mrs) R.F. Adebayo to oversee the affairs of the venture, noting the size of the venture. Having established that “In the multitude of people is the king's honour (Proverbs 14:28),” the Vice-Chancellor said that the award ceremony was an appreciation of the honour done their head. He noted that the award illustrated the account of Modecai in Esther 6:1-10, saying that there is always an appointed for reward. He, therefore, admonished them not to go ahead of God or the system to reward themselves by pilfering but always looking forward to the day of reckoning when their contributions would be honoured publicly. “Don’t work for us in Landmark, work with us. In the same vein, don’t work for God, work with God and don’t go ahead of God, let him go ahead of you,” he added. He congratulated Dr (Mrs) Adebayo on the divine wisdom that has helped her so far.

Earlier, the Dr (Mrs) Adebayo had appreciated the massive support received from the proprietor base and the University management. While speaking on the award, she said the awardees were carefully selected based on result obtained through quality service delivery that had moved the venture forward from their various platforms.
