PROFESSOR OSUNDE ZINASH DELEBO

Professor Zinash D. Osunde was born on August 20th 1957 in Ambo Ethiopia. She attended Maerege Hiwot Primary and Secondary Schools in Ambo, Ethiopia and proceeded to Nitra, Czechoslovakia for her University Education. Between 1976 and 1982 she was at the University of Agriculture Nitra, Czechoslovakia where she bagged an MSc degree in Agricultural Engineering. She also attended the Technical University of Vienna, Austria between 1985 and 1988 where she earned a diploma in Computer Science. In 2003 she bagged a Ph.D degree in Agricultural Engineering (Crop Processing and Storage option) from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

She attended a number of professional training in various part of the world. Professor Osunde belongs to several professional bodies among them are Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Eengineers (NIAE), Association of Professional Women Engineers (APWEN), International Network of Women Engineers and Scientist (ICWES) she is a registered engineer with COREN. Prof. Osunde joined the services of the Federal University of Technology, Minna in 1990 and has held several positions of responsibility within the University and outside, which include Examination Officer, School of Engineering, Post Graduate Programme coordinator Department of Agric. Engineering, Head Agricultural Engineering Department, Chairperson Seminar and Colloquium style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> Committee, FUT, Minna, Chairperson LOC Maiden CEFE Nigeria conference 2012 She was the Treasurer, Technical Secretary and Vice Chairperson of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Minna branch, at different times and Chairperson Association of Professiona Women Engineers (APWEN), Minna branch.
