I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. I started building my career when i was assigned a project topic titled” Biosorption of dye from aqueous phase using Pseudomonas fluorescence as graduate research project” The research shows the potential of microorganisms to metabolize organic compounds as effective means of disposing hazardous and toxic waste. This was the genesis of my path in Biochemical Engineering and Bio-processing engineering which is a subset of Chemical Engineering. Due to my quest for knowledge and passion for academics, I went further to obtain a degree in Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. My research project at masters’ level was on “Optimization of Bioethanol Production using Saccharomyces cerevisiae Grown on Breadfruit Pulp Starch Hydrolysate” I was a research assistant and a postgraduate student at Biochemical Engineering Laboratory, Department of Chemical Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. There i carried out and co-supervised project on biofuel and organic acid synthesis. The use of chemical engineering software in analyzing experimental data is part of my scarce and innovative skills. I am presently undergoing my PhD studies at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa, Department of Chemical Engineering, Bio-processing Engineering and High Separation Research Unit.
