Adewumi Oluwasogo DADA was born in Zaria in 1981. He hailed from Aaye-Oja Ekiti of Moba Local Government, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He obtained B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry with second class upper division from University of Ilorin, 2004. He further proceeded to the same institution where he obtained M.Sc. (Chemistry) and Ph.D. (Physical, Analytical and Environmental Chemistry) in 2009 and 2015 respectively. He has taught in all levels of education and even served as pioneer Principal at Ayoson Comprehensive High School, Ilorin. He started his lecturing career as Assistant Lecturer in Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State in 2010 and later moved to Landmark University as one of the Pioneer Lecturers in Industrial Chemistry, 2011. Currently, He is a Lecturer I in Industrial Chemistry Programme, Department of Physical Sciences, College of Science and Engineering. He has served in different capacities and currently he is the acting Head of Industrial Chemistry Programme (H.O.P ICH) and Physical Sciences Departmental Project and Seminar Coordinator. He has attended several Local and International Conferences. He is a member of Academic Professional bodies such as Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Science Association of Nigeria (SAN) and Material Science of Nigeria (MSN).

He has supervised and still supervises different undergraduate seminars and projects. He teaches many undergraduate courses and publishes in scholarly peer reviewed reputable National and International Journals in the areas of Physical, Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. His research Interests are Nanotechnology; Green Synthesis of Nanoparticles and Their Applications in Antibacterial Studies; Adsorption, Waste Water Treatment and Remediation
