BRIEF BIOGRAPHY.


ENGR. ANIYI OLANREWAJU STEPHEN FNIAE, MNSE, REG. ENGR. COREN.

Engr. Aniyi Olanrewaju Stephen is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Bio-Systems Engineering, Landmark University, Omu - Aran. He received his B.Sc Degree in Agricultural Engineering, from University of Ibadan in August, 1988 and M.Eng Degree in Agricultural Engineering, from the University of Ilorin in January, 1997. He is presently a Ph.D Student at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Engr. S. O. Aniyi has worked meritoriously with, but not limited to, the following Institution/Organizations in the past:
? Department of Agricultural and Water Resources Engineering, Kwara state Polytechnics, Ilorin (Lecturing, 1992 – 2012; Head of Department, 2003 – 2004).
? Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO), Oshodi, Lagos (Senior Visiting Engineer, 1997 – 1999).
? National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM), Ilorin (Resource Personnel, 1994 – 1998; Research Collaboration, 1998 – till Date).

He is a Registered and Practicing Engineer (COREN), since March 1999. He is a Member of The Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and a Fellow of Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (FNIAE). He has published many articles in various journals, including Journal of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (JAET) and attended over 40 Professional Conferences and Seminars till date. His research interest includes Farm Power and Machinery, Post-Harvest Technology, and Farm Structures & Environment. His current works are on “Optimizing Jatropha Seed Oil as Bio – Diesel for tillage and other Agro-Processing Operations” and “Post-Harvest Losses Eradication Model Development”.

Engr. S. O. Aniyi was the Chapter Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers, Ilorin Chapter (2010 to 2014). A Meritorious Service Award Winner of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Ilorin Branch, as Technical Secretary (1997 to 1999) and General Secretary (2004 to 2005). He is married and blessed with Six Children, Three Male and Three Female.
