Olawoye, Samuel Oyewale, a native of Offa in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State, was born on 13th March, 1968;

He had his tertiary education from University of Ilorin where he obtained Bachelor of Agriculture (B. Agric.) degree, 1989 and Masters of Science, Animal Production, 1992. Shortly after his Masters degree, he worked with agricultural organizations among which include Hassom Integrated Farms Limited, Share, Kwara State, Olukayode Quality Animal Feeds Limited. Akure, Ondo State and Caps Feed-mill. Ibadan, Oyo State. He lectured as a part time lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Technology of Kwara State Polytechnic between 2009 and 2012. He is a currently undergoing his Ph.D (Animal Production) programme in the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.

He is married to Rebecca Funmi Olawoye and they are blessed with 3 children. Olawoye Samuel currently lectures in the Department of Animal Science, College of Agricultural Sciences, Landmark University, Omu Aran, Kwara State.
