Awakan Oluwakemi Josephine is a lecturer and researcher who started her teaching career mainly in 2011. She holds a Master degree in Biochemistry and a Certificate in Data Processing and Management Information System from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), and the Nigerian Society of Experimental Biology (NISEB). She has some publications to her merit in her societal journal and other publishing houses. Her research interest spans through Clinical toxicology and Phytomedicine. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry, Landmark University where she recently (2015) got a certificate of recognition for meritorious service as the Departmental Examination officer. She is currently running her Ph.D in Clinical Biochemistry where she is looking at a bioactivity guided fractionation of the anti-asthmatic activity of Anacardium occidentale L. leaf extracts.
