The Centre for Learning Resources stood still on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 to receive his Excellency, the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rtd. General Olusegun Obasanjo when he paid a courtesy call on the Centre.

The former President and his entourage, led by the Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Regents Landmark University, Dr. David Oyedepo in company of the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Aize Obayan and other members of the University Management, were conducted round various sections of the library by the Director, Centre for Learning Resources.

General Obasanjo expressed his delight in the huge investment in the learning resources available at the Centre. He enthused that such investments in educational resources would definitely have impact on generations in many years to come.

His visit to the Centre for Learning Resources further validates his passion for knowledge which is the bedrock of every meaningful revolution. While at the Escapist Reading Section of the Library, he expressed amusement noting that it was an innovation that he would definitely introduce into his own library.
